*A formal form of invitation can be obtained by an inviting individual in Belarus from a relevant local Belarusian Visa and Registration Office in accordance with the established procedure. A business invitation from a body of corporate in Belarus ( governmental body, company, organisation, etc. ) should include the following information: official name of the inviting party, exact purpose of the visit, the proposed dates and length of stay, details of funding ( accommodation, air fare, etc. ) and be on the company’s letter-head.
The applications are approved on the documentary evidence alone or decided after a short interview. The above list should not be considered as exhaustive. Any other documents or details which may be helpful should also be presented by the applicant to the consular officer. It is important for the consular officer to be in possession of all the relevant information before he/she reaches a final decision. The applicant should remember that it is the applicant’s intentions which are paramount and that although the consular officer will weight all the evidence in the balance, his assessment of the applicant’s intention will carry the most weight
The appropriate visa fees indicated in the following table are levied and applicable to the various types of the Belarusian visas.
In the case of great urgency extra fee is applicable.
The visa is to be issued within 5-10 working days but the whole procedure may be expedited if the applicant has been able to prepare the required documentation properly in advance. Otherwise, if the application is ill-prepared the applicant may be asked to produce whatever documentation the consular officer requires. It is important that the applicant does not think the application has been rejected at this stage.
To secure return delivery of the passports all the applicants are kindly requested to enclose a prepaid and self-addressed envelope to be posted by Recorded Mail. If there is any need of a next day delivery the relevant envelopes of Special Delivery should be provided.
